Dear Leadership Utah Alumni Members,

On February 13, 2007 I had the opportunity to participate on our behalf at Mueller Park Junior High School in conjunction with our partners from the Utah Scholars program.  I spoke to classes of 8th graders in two sessions about the importance of education and the value of preparing yourself now through signing up for and completing a slightly more rigorous course load through high school.

It was personally rewarding to reach out and strive to teach, motivate and inspire them to think about their futures and how advanced education and/or specialized training will dramatically open up their options.  If your schedule allows I would encourage your participation.
