The Salt Lake Chamber is Utah’s largest
business association and Utah’s Business Leader™. With roots that go back to
1887, the Chamber has been standing as the voice of business, supporting its
members’ success and championing community prosperity for over 100 years. The
Chamber represents roughly 4600 businesses statewide and one in every three jobs in
the Utah economy.
The Salt Lake Chamber is a private, non-profit organization that represents the business community of Utah statewide. The Chamber is not a government agency, a branch of city hall, or a state or federally supported organization. Chamber
affiliate organizations include the Downtown Alliance, Women Business Center and
World Trade Center Utah.
A Capital City Statewide Chamber: Just like the capital city serves as the center of commerce, seat of government and transportation hub for the entire state, Utah’s capital city chamber
(The Salt Lake Chamber) fulfills a statewide business function. The Chamber serves members in each of Utah’s 29 counties, 13 states and one in Canada. It is Utah’s largest chamber and offers a range of services commensurate with a statewide chamber of commerce, including the states largest networking events, most prestigious business award (A Giant in Our City), class A office space in downtown Salt Lake City, and refined public policy advocacy. Its professional staff generously shares their expertise with chambers of commerce throughout the state, including the staffing of the Utah State Chamber of Commerce.
