Enjoy the Chamber Classic Golf Tournament June 23
More than 130 top-level executive golfers participate in this annual event for the chance to entertain and build business relationships. Players receive gifts created exclusively for the tournament. This event is one of the Salt Lake Chamber’s primary annual fundraisers for the year.

Hole Sponsors $2500
Hole sponsors will be given the opportunity to provide a contest or activity at their hole. Please contact Jackie Sexton at jsexton@saltlakechamber.org. or (801) 328-5053 to confirm the activity.

Foursomes / VIP Guests $1600
Each year the Salt Lake Chamber encourages members to include community leaders, business colleagues, and other VIP guests in their foursomes. These spots fill fast so register early.  Due to popular interest for this event, registrations are taken on a first come first serve basis.  If you would like suggestions or assistance on players for your team, please contact us by June 11, 2008.  Please submit handicaps no later than Monday, June 16 at 5:00 p.m.

SCRAMBLE

• All members of a team tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected.

• From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members of the team playing their own ball into the hole.

• All four scores are recorded

• Scramble format is played with full handicaps to ensure all players contribute to the team score.

• A handicap scoring for a scramble is done by using one low ball as the team score.

COURSE RULES

• U.G.A. golf rules and regulations will be in effect. Players are asked to remember golf etiquette and replace all divots on course. 

• Keep play moving as quickly as possible!

• Volunteers will be able to assist golfers and answer any questions.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The Chamber Classic will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Salt Lake Country Club.

• SHOTGUN START—8:00 a.m. SHARP!

• CHECK-IN DEADLINE IS 7:30 a.m.

• ATTIRE: Collared shirts are required for all players. Bermuda length shorts. Hats must be worn forward. NO denim shirts or denim shorts, please.

• All players must provide their handicap to the Chamber by Monday, June 16 at 5:00 p.m. (Maximum 24)

• A light continental breakfast will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. near the pro shop.

• The complimentary putting green will be open at 7:00 a.m. 

• Contests will be announced the day of the event.

• Complimentary water and soft drinks will be available on the course.

• The luncheon, award ceremony, and prize drawing will be held immediately following the conclusion of play in the dining room. Participants must be present to win the grand prize drawings.

Gift Bags
The tournament committee is seeking drawing prizes of value as well as tee bag prizes. If you or your company would be interested in donating to the bags, please contact Jackie Sexton at (801) 328-5053 or email jsexton@saltlakechamber.org.
