2007 Salt Lake Military Salute Banquet Paying
tribute to the nobility and accomplishments of Utah’s outstanding
citizen/soldiers.
Brig. Gen. Kathleen D. Close Commander of the Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. General Close assumed command in June 2007.
She is responsible for five wings, to include the 75th Air Base Wing, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 309th Maintenance Wing, 508th Aircraft Sustainment Wing, and the 526th Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Wing. The center provides worldwide logistics management, engineering, supply, contracting and depot maintenance for a wide variety of aircraft and munitions related platforms.
Prior to her command at the Ogden Air Logistics Center the general has commanded a combat logistics support squadron, a logistics group and an air base wing. She holds both a master aircraft maintenance and missile maintenance badge.
