Minority Owned Business of the Year - Hablemos Spanish Language Academy
Jaime Pena, Director Miriam Jordan. Assistant Director
Pilar Florenz, Marketing Coordinator hablemosacademy.com
Hablemos Spanish Language Academy offers a
complete program in six levels, from beginning to advanced. They focus on all aspects of Spanish language comprehension
by providing instruction in small group classes, private classes, and company
classes.Hablemos
also offers English classes and translation services. The Academy teaches Spanish on a business level, to those traveling to
Latin American countries, and to people who wish to communicate with the
Hispanic population in the community.
The program began five years ago with one
instructor.Based on the successes
of their students the company has grown exponentially. They now employ 18 teachers who
offer instruction to more than 200 students and to a number of corporations and
privately owned companies.The
Academy now has multiple classrooms in two locations and plan to expand
to three more states within the next two years.
Hablemos
Spanish Language Academy has grown in large degree due to our students
telling others about the positive results they have experienced in speaking,
reading, writing, and understanding the Spanish language.Because the population growth of Hispanics in the United States has
created economic growth, they feel reaching Hispanic customers is best achieved
through the learning of Spanish.
"We owe our success to our proven,
unique and innovative curriculum, our professional teachers, the affordability
of our programs, and the success achieved by our students" said director
Jamie Pena."Spanish
is a key language of the future and HSLA aims to assist others by increasing job
opportunities, promoting international business, and building stronger relations
in the community."
