Professional Development seminars and presentations are designed to provide
knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a changing business
climate. They range from current topics of interest to International
Business, Sale, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Technology.

for Presenters
The Salt Lake Chamber is looking for members of the Chamber who to present as part of the Professional Development workshops.
Professional Development presentations are a benefit offered to all members of the Salt Lake Chamber. Guest speakers offer insight into current topics of interest or concern and must be relevant to Utah’s business community.
If you have a topic that you are interested in presenting to our members, please
read through the requirements for presenters and complete the online RFP
below.
Requirements for presenters and proposals:
Presenters must be paid members of the Salt Lake Chamber, in good standing, throughout the entire year
Panelists and co-presenters must be paid members of the Chamber, in good standing, and listed on your RFP prior to your presentation
All topics must be subject specific and in
NO WAY advertise your company or services.
Distribution of complimentary products and services must be coordinated through the Chamber.
Professional Development Workshops are always schedule at least two months out
Presentations are not scheduled more than six months out so that we can continue to provide current and relevant topics of interest
Proposals must be submitted online
Please do not send any marketing or promotional materials! The selection committee reviews ONLY the RFP, additional materials will be thrown away
Presenters may be required to attend a personal interview with the selection committee
Please use one “Request For Proposal” form for each seminar topic. Presenters may submit up to two RFP’s at a time
These presentations are held at the Chamber and are typically free of charge.
Presentations that are not held at in the Chamber's offices may have a small
entrance fee charged to guests. Any fees associated with the
registration are only
charged to offset logistical costs.
Presenters
are not financially reimbursed for their service unless as a presenter you
are able to secure a Chamber member as a sponsor.
It is the presenter’s responsibility to notify the Chamber of any proposed changes prior to the seminar
Presenters are required to provide their own hand outs. The maximum number of attendees is 65 and the average number of attendees is close to 35.
