Marcy Brown is an award-winning independent media producer and the co-founder of
www.RootsTelevision.com,
a ground-breaking Internet television network. She has written, produced and directed documentaries and television programming in diverse world-wide locations on topics ranging from family history to competitive sports to religion in Africa, including the award-winning PBS Ancestors series, which continues to air on public television channels across the United States.
Marcy holds a BA degree in English from Indiana University and an MFA degree in Film Production from BYU. She believes strongly in the power of media to wield a positive influence in peoples’ lives.
