About our presenter:
Robin Rockwood has been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank, Robin served in a number of leadership positions including senior relationship officer with Electronic Data Services, in various leadership capacities with a large financial institution and as a senior official with the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.
Robin joined the Los Angeles Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in August of 1992 as the Financial Services officer and since then has held a number of official positions including Portland Branch Assistant Manager, Vice President of Business Development, District Director of Public Information and District Director of Community Perspectives. Currently, Robin is the Vice President of Community Perspectives and Salt Lake City Branch Manager, responsible for managing executive level banking relationships with several hundred community banks throughout the nine western states.
Robin has chaired a number of Federal Reserve District and System task forces covering issues such as Check Fraud, National Sales Strategy and Performance Management.
Robin is a graduate of the USC Leadership program and earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Management and Organizational Communication from Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon. She will complete her graduate degree studies in Public Administration in the Spring of 2010.
Robin serves on the boards of the California Council on Economic Education, the California Jumpstart Coalition for Financial Literacy and on the advisory board of the Center for International Business Education and Research at San Diego State University.
