Salt Shakers are a group of Salt Lake business people who donate their time and energy to serve as goodwill ambassadors for the Salt Lake Chamber and the Greater Salt Lake area. Shakers host ribbon cuttings and grand openings for local businesses and travel to cities throughout the United States to build relationships and strengthen the ties of commerce.

second Salt Lake Location in Foothill Village.
The Downtown Place, a downtown Salt Lake City visitor's
center, opened on April 6, 2006. In attendance were Mayor Corroon,
Mayor Anderson, City Councilman Bueler, President & CEO of the Salt Lake
Chamber Lane Beattie, & Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau CEO
Scott Beck.
On March 27th The Salt Shakers helped celebrate the
grand opening of R.E.P. Staffing's new Salt Lake City office.
