Chamber proposes innovative immigration reform strategy that protects public, sustains economy 

The Salt Lake Chamber proposed an innovative state immigration policy combining the need for federal action with supportive state action that protects the public and sustains the economy. Chamber President and CEO Lane Beattie presented the program last week at the governor’s immigration roundtable at the State Capitol.

10th Annual Women in Business Summer Social -  August 12

The Women in Business Summer Social, an annual fundraiser for the Salt Lake Chamber’s Women’s Business Center, will be held on August 12 from 5:30-8 pm at LaCaille. Each summer this event brings 250 – 300 of Salt Lake City’s most prominent women together. This event gives an opportunity for the members and non-members of the Business Women’s Forum to recognize the past 12 months of learning, networking and sharing information.
