The Downtown Rising collaboration includes a broad cross-section of business and community leaders and technical experts who are grouped into the categories of Conveners, Cabinet and Technical Advisors. Elected officials have been invited to serve in an ex-officio status, advising the collaboration. All other interested participants are invited to join the collaboration as partners.
Elected officials – Elected officials will serve in an ex-officio status. These members advise the collaboration and they, or their representative, are invited to appropriate meetings and functions. Many of their staff serve on the Cabinet or are technical advisors.

Invited College of Mayors – Salt Lake City is fortunate to have five former mayors who still live in the region and have contributed to the remarkable capital city that we enjoy today. In addition, former mayors of other cities in the region offer a wealth of experience in city issues. The College of Mayors will be tapped as a resource for refining and shaping the vision for downtown.
