BACKGROUND
An economic renaissance is occurring in Salt Lake City as more than $2 billion will be invested in the core downtown area during the next five years. Utah’s business community welcomes this investment and has endorsed a new regional vision for Salt Lake City called Downtown Rising. Key to the implementation of this vision is a mayor who knows how to partner with the business community to create a more livable and prosperous city. This debate will help differentiate candidates from a business perspective.
