The training will cover:
• The immigration reforms that have been introduced in Arizona
• The new immigration related laws being proposed in Utah
• How each of these laws may affect employers
• The federal immigration reforms being considered
• The structure of current immigration laws and Utah's undocumented worker population
There is no charge for this event but seats are limited
Utah Diversity Connections is a group of employers in
Utah working to assist Utah businesses in building diverse workforces and with
diverse employees seeking supportive employers. This coalition identifies
and produces resources for both employers and employees, helps promote the
"business case" for a diverse workforce, and recognizes employers that
have built a diverse workforce through the Utah Diversity Awards presented
annually in conjunction with the Salt Lake chapter of SHRM.
